It’s July, it’s hot, and it’s North Philly… Welcome to the neighborhood, SMI!
At the end of their first full day on project, the SMI Philly 2011 team finished neighborhood orientation with dinner on the Boulevard. Good fellowship, a good meal, and heartfelt words for ministering to each other and the community – this team is ready to go!
Please keep the SMI students in prayer as they finish up orientation and anticipate their first days of outreach. Pray for the student leaders as they seek to be godly examples. Praise the Lord for guys with guitars, the swimming pool, and (hopefully by now) a deepening sense of Christian community.
