Christian Perspective on Mental Health
In this talk, Dr. John Applegate (www.JAandA.com) will outline some philosophical concepts involved in coming to an understanding of human nature, and provide an overview of some common approaches to reconciling body/mind/soul issues as well as Christian approaches to understanding psychology. He will share his own positions and how that has informed his practice, as well as his efforts to coordinate mental health care with the local church. There will be time for Q&A so bring your questions!
