How should we understand the role of biological and spiritual factors in the etiology of complex patient presentations? What stems from bodily weakness/illness? What is attributable to sinful nature? Beginning with a case study, this talk by John Applegate MD (Philadelphia Renewal Network) and Mike Emlet MD (Christian Counseling and Educational Foundation) will build from the foundation of robust biblical anthropology in order to bring a deeper understanding and a pathway for discerning care.
