Remember Your Calling
Our primary calling in life is to bear God’s image. The primary call in medicine is the healing of individuals and the promotion of the God-image within those individuals through physical health and well-being. It is not primarily prestige, financial stability, or many other possible motivators. You can achieve all of these positive benefits and yet NOT receive the REST God offers. Alternatively, you can enter God’s rest, and quite possibly enjoy these added benefits. The key is faith. Faith is believing the promises of God and the promises of God are found exclusively in his written Word.
