In a world where brokenness has no prejudice, brokenness is something that we will all have to encounter, live with and be healed from. Our brokenness may come in different shapes, sizes, packages and at different times in our lives, but no one escapes the process of being broken. However, with Christ we can rest in the fact that although an area of our lives may be broken, it does not mean that every area of our lives has to be broken. There is still something in us that God would like to use. There is a living testimony in each of us that can be used as an anchor for someone else, so we must not get caught up in nursing our own brokenness, but rest and get caught up in the one who can heal our brokenness. We have to allow God to heal and leverage our brokenness, so that He can put us in a position to be a blessing in the lives of others. As much as we would like to think our struggles are about us, they truly are not! We have to remember that if God can accomplish so much in the world through the brokenness of His son Jesus Christ, we cannot even fathom what He can accomplish through our brokenness, as we thank Him and allow Him to pour us out into the lives of other people.
Psalm 34:18 The LORD is near to the brokenhearted And saves those who are crushed in spirit.
