GMHC Trip
DATE: November 9-11, 2023 (car travel with MCO starting on 11/8)
LOCATION: Southeast Christian Church (Louisville, KY)
he GMHC is the world’s largest gathering of healthcare professionals, students, and organizations dedicated to healthcare missions. This annual three-day conference features breakout sessions, plenary speakers, exhibitors, and special events. It’s the premier event to learn, connect, and build relationships that help advance the Kingdom through medical missions.
The 2023 Global Missions Health Conference will be hosted both live and virtual. The full live event will occur at Southeast Christian Church. Portions of the live event will be accessible through the virtual platform. Event tickets are available for either the live event (which includes virtual access) or just the virtual access ticket.
MCO will be setting up carpools to leave from the Philly area and helping with lodging. You will need to register with the conference in order to attend. You can also arrange your own carpool anytime and MCO will reimburse gas and tolls (as long as you provide receipts, attend the conference, and stay with MCO). If you’d like to ride with MCO you will need to fill out the form below as well as registering directly with GMHC.
If you would rather fly into Louisville, MCO can’t pay for your flight but we will pay for rental from Louisville airport for use during the conference (provided that you are staying with us at our host home).
MCO-GMHC Schedule
Wednesday, 11/8 – MCO leaving from Philly around mid-morning and arriving at our host house sometime after getting dinner on the road
Thursday, 11/9 – Head to the conference site after breakfast and help out however needed before attending the first plenary (2 PM)
Friday, 11/10 – Attend the conference all day
Saturday, 11/11 – Head back to Philly as soon as the conference ends (arriving around midnight)
